Hand Painted - Digital Art
This is my last artwork of my series Yoga at the Beach, where I’m creating paintings of yoga in what I think are perfect locations and atmosphere.
My imaginary location in this art, an infinity pool looking over a tropical beach. The idea of an infinity pool was what started the creative process for this art. I saw a picture of this type of pool during a research for something else and I thought, this is it, that is going to be the location for the next yoga painting. I stopped, took notes on my small “Notebook of Ideas” and began to think about how I’m going to do it.
Why an infinity pool? Because it gives me two different bodies of water to work with, (I’m fascinated by water, as an artist) and I will have a water reflection that I think is super cool.
Time, during the twilight of a sunset. Then I had to decide what colors the sunset will have and how I will use it.
For the yoga pose I used a reference photo of the very talented model Yasmin @yasminsarte and her photographer Beza Photo @bezaphoto Poses are very specific in yoga, so I always try to make sure I do it as close to the ideal as possible.
Since I decided that the pose will be from the back, I immediately thought about Yasmin because she does yoga and her back is beautiful and powerful at the same time.
Yoga at the beach I think is magical. It is a great way to relax, meditate and connect with nature. What are better ways to do it nude and embrace yourself, yoga and mother nature.
