As a teen kid living in downtown Caracas, Venezuela, my grandma’s pet was a parrot who hang out on a bird perch that she made for her by the room top window. Every Saturday or Sunday because I didn’t wake up to go to school, the Parrot climbed to the bedhead and started “talking to me”. I made this thinking of my grandma and her pet.
